Influencing
The Association represents these charities with the Charity Commission, the Housing Corporation and other Government departments.

A growing demand
The Association, through its member charities, is a major provider of older persons' accommodation in the UK. Some charities provide homes for younger people in need. The demand increases every year.

Finance
Every year the Association has to raise over £300,000 to continue its work. None of the amount needed is received from Government grants.
