Becoming an Associate Member of The Almshouse Association is a very effective and affordable means of supporting us and provides predictable income for the charity.
These “before and after” photographs show what a difference can be made to virtually derelict almshouses when a committed Board of Trustees take over and work as a team to bring a building back to life for their local community
There are two levels of Associate membership:
- Annual Subscription of £100
- Lifetime Membership – a one-off donation of £500
Your donation as an Associate Member would make a significant difference to the work of the Association, enabling us to continue with grants and interest free loans to our member almshouse charities, and maintaining our services offering support and advice to trustees.

Associate Members will receive copies of our quarterly magazine, The Almshouses Gazette and an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each year. The Annual General Meeting is usually held at a Livery Company Hall in central London.
