    Hi, are most Clerk to the Trustees self-employed or employees?

    I am clerk to three almshouse charities. Two I am self-employed and one employed.

    Up until now I have been self-employed, paid monthly but billing overtime weekly. The treasurer has been mumbling about changing that status to reflect increasing hours and to keep in line with the new regulations on NI.

    I am employed on a part time basis as Clerk to three associated charities.

    I am also employed on part time basis to administer all charity business including the management of 8 almshouses
