    Hi all,

I am been contacted by MS3 Network.

They are requesting access to our site and seem to think that have a statutory right. Has anyone else been contacted by MS3 and do we have to comply?

    Email below for reference:

I am writing to follow up on behalf of MS3 Networks regarding the proposed installation of our FTTH (Fibre To The Home) telecommunications for LEE REST HOUSES, ANLABY ROAD, KINGSTON UPON HULL, HULL HU4 6XA.

As you may be aware, MS3 Networks is a recognised Code Operator under the Electronic Communications Code (“the Code”), which grants us specific rights to install and maintain electronic communications apparatus.

Our primary goal is to work collaboratively with freeholders and property owners to extend choice and improve access to ultrafast broadband for residents.

Currently, residents of LEE REST HOUSES have limited options for internet service providers, being primarily restricted to services from KCOM. By working together, we can provide the tenants with a much-needed alternative, enabling access to more competitive and flexible broadband packages through one of MS3 Partners.

While we prefer to work through mutual agreement and collaboration, I must highlight that under the provisions of the Code, MS3 has the right to pursue a statutory notice as a last resort to ensure the deployment of essential telecommunications services.

However, I sincerely hope to avoid this route and instead work amicably with [The Official Custodian for Charities] to bring the benefits of greater connectivity to the property.

Could you kindly confirm receipt of this email and advise how we can proceed to establish the necessary wayleave agreement? Should you have any questions or require further details, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at wayleaves@ms-3.co.uk or by phone at 01482 526358.
