Salaries of Clerk and Assistant Clerk

Would anyone be abe to advise where I can get information on current salary levels for Clerks and Assistant Clerks (admin assistants)?

As almshouse charities all vary in size and the clerk’s role is also varied, I would advise you to contact almshouse charities which are of a similar size to yours and see if they will share this information with you.

Hi Janet
This will also depends on what the clerk does. In some cases the trustees are very involved and share responsibilities (policies, property management, health & safety, etc) + have an accountant, leaving the clerk to just look after the residents and minute the meetings whereas in other charities the clerk manages everything.
