Accommodation:
A first-floor almshouse flat will shortly become available at The College of Matrons, The Close, central Salisbury.
The property provides historic, comfortable, independent accommodation with its own private entrance. Heating is included within the monthly maintenance contribution currently at £525, payable monthly in arrears. 
Applications are invited from single women aged 50 or over who are in financial and housing need, and who are able to live independently.
The flat will be available from early December 2025. Deadline for applications  – 24th November 2025.

Criteria:
The criteria for being accepted for accommodation in the College of Matrons are:
- You must be a woman aged 50+
 
- You must be a resident in our area of benefit, which is: the Dioceses of Bath & Wells, Exeter, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Truro and Winchester
 
- You must have a housing need or be experiencing some other form of hardship e.g. financial.
 
- You must be capable of living independently.
