Accommodation
We have a two bedroom house, suitable for a couple/two people, available for immediate occupancy.
It is intended that the appointees will provide some support to their neighbours and the church, for example, low level handyman jobs, opening of the church for contractors etc.
This is one of seven Almshouses that have recently been refurbished and are adjacent to the Church of The Annunciation.
Almspeople do not pay rent but pay a monthly contribution to maintenance costs, according to the size of the property.
Criteria
Christians who regularly attend a mainstream church.
Minimum age 60 years
In need of financial support owing to limited income.
Willingness for credentials to be checked and references taken up.
