Accommodation:

One bedroom apartment style unit accommodation / Studio accommodation

Criteria:

The Almshouse Charity provides affordable accommodation for older people who are able to live independently and who meet the charitable objectives of the organisation.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

  • Be aged 60 years or over.
  • Single
  • Be able to live independently without the need for full-time care or support.
  • Demonstrate a housing need, social need and/or limited financial resources.
  • Be of good character and willing to contribute positively to the almshouse community.
  • Please note that accommodation is allocated at the discretion of the Trustees and is subject to availability.
  • Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that accommodation will be offered.
  • All applications are assessed fairly and confidentially in accordance with the charity’s governing documents, policies, and procedures. The Trustees are committed to ensuring that applications are considered on their individual merits and in line with the charitable purposes of the almshouse.
