Siobhan began her career in journalism and has worked in the industry long enough to remember ‘banging out’ ceremonies for print workers, although she is quick to point out that metal type and roaring presses had disappeared by then.
She later moved into communications in the charity sector, joining The Almshouse Association in March 2026.
Siobhan continues to write theatre reviews for a local media group and is a keen supporter of the performing arts, particularly theatre and dance. Although surrounded by a family of enthusiastic sports fans, she continues to call half-time ‘the interval’.
