Pellings has over 40 years’ experience of working with Almshouse Charities to manage and improve their estates. Our expertise ranges from undertaking quinquennial surveys, writing specifications, managing repairs to Listed buildings, and designing and project managing new build schemes. Our clients include Whiteley Village, the largest single-site Almshouse in the UK with over 500 Listed properties, and St Clements Dane Holborn Estate Charity. We worked with St Clements Dane Holborn Estate Charity to design a brand new Almshouse on an existing site, which was financed by privately selling land on the estate to develop private residential homes.
