Why branding is important
Our visual identity is the graphic expression of who we are and what we represent. Our brand encompasses everything that our members, the public, the government, donors and almshouse residents think, feel, say, hear, read, watch, imagine, hope and associate with The Almshouse Association and its members.
A strong cohesive identity fosters instant and lasting recognition of our national brand across our diverse range of audiences.
As the almshouse movement is experiencing a renaissance and gaining significant media attention, we encourage members to fully leverage our members logo to enhance their charity’s visibility and impact.
Using The Almshouse Association Member logo
The Almshouse Association is eager to create a community identity – to demonstrate our appreciation for the close connections, partnerships, collective pride and commitment to excellence and integrity that we share with our members.
Our member logo embodies this and we hope that its use will not only enhance your charity’s visibility and impact, but it will also help us all achieve a community identity.
We encourage members to use this logo on their websites, stationery, social media and promotional materials.

In these instances, the member charity may want to display their association by using the format shown here on the right:
A thin black keyline can be used to help the logos to sit next to each other comfortably.
Both brands should be given equal visual balance.
Partners should use the same principles when using our logo.
