Jo joined The Almshouse Association in September 2023. After gaining an MSc in Chartered Surveying from Kingston University, Jo stayed on there as a researcher before moving on to work with several housing associations, helping them with sustainability. Since then she has worked for Citizens Advice helping vulnerable clients claim appropriate benefits, and at two local councils working in the areas of Wellbeing, Housing and Fuel Poverty.
At The Almshouse Association Jo deals works closely with Susan and Danielle, dealing with member enquiries and providing tailor made support where needed. Â
Jo enjoys walking her dogs, doing yoga and cooking Italian food, although according to her family the results of this last can be variable!
