Reporting directly to the Chief Executive you will be a member of the Senior Management Team and responsible for determining the Associations financial strategy as well as the preparation of monthly management and statutory accounts.  You will be expected to play a full part in a wide range of activities with specific responsibility for I.T and Procurement.

You will be responsible, through the Chief Executive, to the Board for the effective management of the Association’s asset base to ensure that best use is made of the available funding, ensuring that it continues to meet the Association’s objectives.   You will also have responsibility for advising Sub Committees and the Board on relevant policy and best practice in relation to financial issues. You will be responsible for ensuring all financial and related regulatory returns are submitted accurately and on time.

You must possess the skill, competence, and ability to oversee all the Finance, I.T and Procurement functions at a strategic level and ensure that it supports the business objectives of the Association. You should be CCAB qualified with at least three years post qualifying experience with the ability to work flexibly in a team environment committed to continuous improvement.

The right person will have a sound understanding of legal requirements and ability to provide technical support and advice to colleagues in other departments and ensure compliance with Financial Regulations, Statutory Acts, Health & Safety, Policies and Best Practice Guidance and make sure risks are managed, mitigated, and monitored.
