TRUSTEES WEEK: Successes, challenges and lessons to share – Monday 9 November 2026

The Almshouse Association is pleased to share with members an invitation from Almshouse Association consultant, Penningtons Manches Cooper to join them for a panel discussion:

Join us for a panel discussion and networking event to kick off Trustees’ Week and celebrate the vital contribution of trustees across the sector.

The event will feature a trustee panel from a number of charities whose focus centres around education in the widest sense of the word.

We’ll be discussing a range of topics from how they deliver their programmes and increase support and engagement, to managing safeguarding, risk and finances. Through an open and engaging conversation, panellists will share both their successes and challenges, offering valuable perspectives on the realities of charity leadership.

Following the panel discussion, there will be an audience Q&A and the opportunity to meet and network with fellow trustees over lunch.
