This bitesize Project Management Essentials Training course guides users through the process of managing a project, learning what it means to be a Project Manager, and seeing things through from an initial idea to a final product. Barely over half of all project managers are certified, and without effective project management, larger-scale projects are likely to fail.
Learning outcomes
- Know what a project is and what a project manager does
- Understand the Project Management Triangle and how it can help you
- Learn the stages of a project and what you need to do throughout to make it a success
This training course is broken down into 2 sections
- Section 1: Looks at the basics – what a project is, the project manager and the project management triangle to get users thinking about what it means to manage a project.
- Section 2: Looks at the five distinct stages every project goes through. Considers the project manager’s role at each stage and how they can keep the project moving forward towards success.
