The Almshouse Association CEO, Nick Phillips took part in a highly engaging regional meeting at Tiverton Almshouse Trust last week, joined by trustees and clerks from across Devon and Cornwall.
There was strong enthusiasm and valuable discussion on some of the key issues facing the sector, including changing EPC legislation, engagement with local government, independent living, caring for older buildings, and long-term planning.
It was also a pleasure to meet Rachel Gilmour MP for Tiverton and Minehead and enjoy a tour of the stunning Tiverton Almshouses.
