We are a professional firm of Chartered Building Surveyors offering a range of property and construction services. We also employ an Architect and can carry out design and specification services.
We are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. We have carried out a number of projects for Almshouses, including the design and management of window renewals to a Listed Almshouse.

About Terrace Surveyors Ltd
Terrace is a Gloucestershire-based Surveying and Built Heritage Consultancy offering residential and commercial building surveying and project management services across the Cotswolds, neighbouring counties and southern England.
Specialising in listed and traditional buildings, we routinely work with almshouse charities and trusts, providing expert advice on:
- statutory consents
- planning
- maintenance
- defect diagnosis, including damp surveys, quinquennial inspections
- advise on matters of energy upgrades and retro-fit.
Our team is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and we have collaborated with Historic England and other heritage organisations on conservation and refurbishment projects, including highly designated assets and scheduled monuments. Past and current projects include:
- structural repairs and implementing a Conservation Management Plan for the St John’s Chantry medieval hall-hospital, Cirencester.
- advising the Bowly Almshouse Trust in relation to individual property refurbishments and gaining statutory approvals for works
- undertaking a Quinquennial inspection of the St Lawrence Almshouse Charity’s stock within Cirencester.
