Our team has considerable experience in all aspects of property and almshouse management, in non-profit supported housing for vulnerable people and in charity governance, fundraising and operations. We currently clerk for charities in mid Essex and can offer these services to the lower East of England area.

I have acted for many almshouses over the years advising on all manner of property related disputes including noise nuisance, anti-social behaviour issues, hoarding and termination of appointments and rights of occupation.
I have a background in advising charity trustees in relation to their fiduciary duties and their obligations under the Charities Act when dealing with property, having specialised in advising charities in relation to their property for the last 15 years.

I have proven capability, enthusiasm, commitment, trust, focus and skills with over 30 years’ experience in Humberside Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) of which 16 year’s was in middle and senior management roles. During my career safety has been at the forefront of emergency operations, during normal daily activities and for the communities I served. I have worked as an operational Fire Fighter through to Group Manager taking command of incidents such as larger scale fires, chemical incidents, explosives, suicides, shipping and train incidents etc. As part of my development I achieved a BSc (Hons) First Class in Safety and Environmental Management in 2011. I have also attended the Fire service College on numerous residential safety related courses for in excess of a year.
