About John Potter Architect Limited
We provide architectural, building surveying and project management services to Trustees undertaking projects to both new and existing buildings, from inception to completion. We can assist in applications for grant funding by the preparation of initial schemes and costings. We also act as Principal Designers under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.
Current projects of all sizes are located throughout the UK: we are presently extending and refurbishing a number of Almshouses and upgrading internal fittings including the provision of thermal insulation and new heating systems to reduce running costs and increase comfort for Residents.
We also specialise in re-roofing of both pitched and flat roofed properties. We can manage construction works on behalf of Trustees, and inspect building works to ensure satisfactory quality. When necessary, we also investigate building defects, and provide expert witness services to assist in the resolution of disputes with Contractors and/or architects.

About Kathy Green
I have been working in the almshouse field for over 20 years, providing grant and project management services for new build, remodelling and major repair projects.
I set up Almshouse Consortium Limited, a non-profit making Company for almshouses seeking grant funding from the Homes and Communities Agency and the Greater London Authority. ACL is an accepted Lead Provider to both organisations and has achieved allocations of over £24m for the construction or improvement of 866 dwellings. I have no interest in the Company, which is owned and run by almshouses having an allocation of grant funding. I act as one of the Programme Managers to ACL and offer Project Management Services to members and others.
