    Thank you Susan. We have had similar incidents in the past few years (when people haven’t asked and just done work on the property) which is why we are very cautious. We have a really good set of contractors, including decorators, but suggestions recently from residents meetings is leaning more towards they should be allowed to use their own…. so it’s def good to know what others do 🙂 thank you

    Hi Lizzy,

    We don’t have a policy but just wanted to let you know we are currently looking at the best way to deal with parcels too, as we had one resident’s parcel go missing. At the site in question all the post goes to one central post box but parcels, depending on who has delivered them. can be left all over the site. We try to retrieve if we notice them but obviously we can’t always be searching round for parcels, that we don’t even know are there. We’re not sure how to resolve, particularly as a lot of couriers just leave them wherever, but we are encouraging residents to ensure parcels go directly to them/ other family members or to order them to the secure lockers they have at different places such as supermarkets (depending on the courier)

    Mandy Newton- do Careline 365 field all emergency calls from your residents ie if they pressed it about a maintenance issue do they then contact a Warden/ Trustee or do they just deal with medical issues for you? Thanks in advance

    Thank you. Would it be possible to send us something across to info@waterhousecharities.co.uk so we could have a look?

    WE have SAGE for the accounts so it would be something for resident records, any notes we need to make if informed of anything, maintenance issued/ regular maintenance and so on. Thanks again

    Hi Susan
    Please could I have a copy of your questionnaire too please? We are currently looking at ways to communicate/ engage with residents alongside regular visits by the warden/ scheme manager.
    If you could send it to info@waterhousecharities.co.uk I would appreciate it.
    Do you find the Resident Forums to be quite challenging or are residents less confrontational as they feel more involved?
