FYI our charity manages seven, terraced properties and we have long-term contracts for both gas & electricity with E.On Next. As a charity the accounts are classified as ‘business rated’. We recently received standard renewal letters, (the contracts expire in December) with extortionate prices for both unit rates and standing charges. However, after contacting the supplier direct and explaining our circumstances, E.On Next offered a ‘low standing charge’ tariff which is only marginally more expensive. Good Luck!
