RICS Chartered Surveyors are the professionals used to value a property for acquisitions, disposals and for accounts (but often at quite some cost). Occassionally estate agents have a qualified surveyor in house but either way they will charge. A websearch will list local ones to you.

Ours is a match system. The employee can opt for 5, 6 or 7% for their own contribution and the employer will then match it. My feeling is that employers should be helping employees to retire with a reasonable standard of living. We may work for charities but we shouldn’t end up in need of charitable support ourselves!
