The Property is available through the Heslington Almshouse Charity, specifically for those currently in need, hardship or distress. In accordance with the Charity’s scheme, preference must be given to Ladies over the age of 50 years, in need, hardship or distress, resident in the parish of Heslington or with a connection to it. The weekly maintenance contribution is to be £122/week.
All applications will be considered by the Trustees, with the property being offered to the most appropriate applicant. No decision will be made until after the Trustees have held a meeting to discuss the applications.
This studio bungalow comprises a studio living / bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The dwelling is unfurnished, benefits from a shared garden but does not have a designated parking space. The occupier will be responsible for maintaining the rear garden, paying all utility and council tax bills, and internal decoration. No pets are allowed.
